Stayed in a beautiful 16th-century guest house. Enjoyed the spa area with sauna, whirlpool, and solarium. Went on a guided tour and tried the Westphalian specialties. Explored the natural beauty of Teutoburg Forest-Egge Hills Nature Park.

As expected, there were no exciting outdoor activities or lively nightlife options. So disappointed.

We have been staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel for years and we love the atmosphere and location. The hotel is situated in the city center, making it very convenient. The service and food quality here are outstanding, and the staff at the reception are always helpful and friendly. The sauna on the 7th floor is new, clean, and even has an outside terrace with a beautiful view of the old town. The rooms are very clean and, if you're lucky, spacious too. The hotel also has a fantastic restaurant with a charming old setting, and they serve a delicious breakfast.

The only slight downside is that the breakfast selection is not extensive. However, the Wi-Fi is fast, making it suitable for work purposes.

Missing a fitness or wellness facility.

The hotel is conveniently located near key landmarks and attractions. The staff was welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and the cozy ambiance of the bar.

The spa facilities were a bit outdated and could use some improvements. We also experienced a minor inconvenience during our stay when a staff member forgot to call us regarding a forgotten item. However, overall, our city break at this hotel was enjoyable and we would consider returning in the future.
